Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear
after Vincent van Gogh, 1889
Painted in January 1889, a few weeks after the night in Arles. He is wearing a winter coat and a fur hat indoors, because the studio had no heating and he had very little money.
No explanation is offered here either.
