Bull Terrier The Rebuke of Adam and Eve — after Domenichino, 1626 | Blanket

The Rebuke of Adam and Eve
after Domenichino, 1626

The Almighty descends into the garden to ask a direct question. Adam points at Eve. Eve points at the serpent. Domenichino paints all of it perfectly straight.

Two suspects. One garden. No confession forthcoming.

After the original in the National Gallery of Art.
