Bull Terrier The Creation of Adam — after Michelangelo, 1512 | Beach Towel

The Creation of Adam
after Michelangelo, 1512

Michelangelo thought of himself as a sculptor and took the ceiling commission reluctantly. It cost him four years on scaffolding and, by his own account, his eyesight.

The hands still do not quite touch. One of them now has claws.

After the original in the Sistine Chapel.
